Under 14's

Last season was the first for the then under 12's together as a squad. Many players were new to rugby and only a hand full had played together before. Under the guidance of Head Coach, Trevor Culic, the then under 12's worked hard over the season to pull together as a team. With some tough games early on in the year the lads pulled together to put in some creditable performances by the end of the year. Over the summer the Under 13's have recruited several new players and a couple of new coaches. Trevor now has assitance in the coaching department from former Clifton 1st Team player,s Mark Douglas, Adam Scott and John Franklin. Also helping with the coaching is Olly Dixon, who is now a CRC for the RFU and will be coaching this years Under 13 Rotherham Area side and South Yorkshire sides. This year will be the squads first season playing 15-a-side on a full size pitch. The coaches have already been working hard to get the lads ready and used to the new challenge. The team is looking to build on the performances from the back end of last season and make a strong start to 2007/2008. The under 13's are always on the lookout for new players no matter what their previous playing experience.
